Pittsfield Meeting on Holmes Road, West Street Traffic Calming Projects

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The City of Pittsfield Department of Public Services will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday, July 6 at 6:00 p.m. 
 
This meeting will take place at the Berkshire Athenaeum located at 1 Wendell Avenue in the auditorium.
 
At this meeting, the Department of Public Services will share an overview of the proposed changes for traffic calming measures for both Holmes Road (between Elm Street and Williams Street) and West Street (between Valentine Road and Government Drive). 
 
Attendees will also have an opportunity to share their thoughts and provide input on both projects.
 
The meeting will be split into two parts. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Holmes Road will be discussed and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. West Street will be discussed. In addition, a second meeting for the changes to West Street will be held in mid-July. More information will be shared when those details are finalized.
