The NY/LA Edge: Performance Workshop

Veteran of the stage and screen, Alison England brings a lifetime of experience (including on- and off-Broadway, UCLA, CalArts, The Julliard School, American Academy of Dramatic Arts) to the Berkshire Music School with her internationally renowned acting workshop The NY/LA Edge. This is the perfect chance for actors, singers, dancers, and performers of all genres and levels to work with Alison in a small, intimate environment. Space is limited due to social distancing guidelines.

Berkshire Opera Festival presents
"The Trial of Susan B. Anthony"
This timely song cycle will portray the legendary trial that was pivotal in the quest for equal rights for women, and marks the 100 year anniversary of women's voting rights in America.
Performed by Connecticut's own mezzo-soprano Adriana Zabala, accompanied by pianist Myra Huang, Ms. Zabala will play all of the roles in this performance, from the judge to the jury and even Susan B. Anthony herself.
The world premiere of this FREE virtual performance is October 26, 2020 at 8 pm, with a live Q&A immediately following the premiere. The performance will also be available on-demand through November 8, 2020.
