PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Adams-Cheshire Little League All-Stars Tuesday moved to within one win of a berth in the Don Gleason District 1 10- to 12-year-old tournament final.

Adams (1-2) beat Great Barrington, 7-5, on Tuesday for its first win in the five-team round robin.

The final game of the round-robin is on Wednesday at Clapp Park against the Pittsfield National League (1-2).

If Adams wins, it will finished tied with Great Barrington (2-2) for second place in the tournament and advance to the final based on the result of Tuesday's head-to-head meeting.

If the Pittsfield Nats win on Wednesday, they would finish at 2-2 but lose the head-to-head tie-breaker against Great Barrington, which would go to the final.

The Pittsfield American League on Tuesday completed the round-robin with a 4-0 record, beating Dalton-Hinsdale, 17-2.

Dalton-Hinsdale finished the tournament with a record of 1-3.

The AL waits to learn who it will face in Friday's 5:30 final at Clapp Park to advance in the Williamsport tournament.
