WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Host Westfield earned a 4-3 win over Pittsfield on Friday night to earn the top seed and home dugout in Saturday's rematch for the Babe Ruth 14-year-old State Championship.

 

Jonathan Monahan had two hits and two RBIs, Nick Hall had a pair of hits, and Michael Grady drove in a run for Pittsfield.

 

Dylan Trova, Steve Sokolow and Shane Bernardo split time on the mound.

 

With the end of pool play on Friday, the teams move on to Saturday's state final at 2 p.m. at Bullens Field.
