Pittsfield Cooperative Bank Names Chief Information Officer

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Pittsfield Cooperative Bank has announced Adrienne DeBlieux Speed as senior vice president and chief information officer of the bank.

DeBlieux Speed has 25 years of experience most recently serving as VP Information Technology.

"Technology has never been a more integral element of success in the financial industry than it is today and it will only become more so over time," said J. Jay Anderson, president and CEO of the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. "Whether utilizing technology to enhance the customer experience or to defend our customers privacy in an age of cyber-criminality.  With Adrienne's experience and expertise she will help us deliver modern financial services in a convenient, secure and reliable way."

DeBlieux Speed will be responsible for leading the bank's development of strategic technology initiatives, overseeing all aspect of technology operations and managing technology programs to ensure the bank’s systems provide optimal results. DeBlieux Speed also oversees the bank's Cybersecurity and Business Continuity programs.

An active member in the community, DeBlieux Speed is a member of the Rotary Club of Pittsfield and serves on the board of the Berkshire Humane Society. She resides in Pittsfield with her husband Matt and dog Diego, with whom she competes in the sport of K9 Scentwork as part of the local work group Berkshire Sniffers.  

DeBlieux Speed received a bachelor of arts from Fordham University and is a graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
