PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Berkshire County Arc has hired Sonja Stewart as Family Support Manager in the Adult Foster Care Program and Family Support Center. In this position she will oversee the case managers and family advocates.
Stewart has completed an intensive training through the Federation for Children with Special Needs and works to offer educational advocacy to families. She also organizes educational events and trainings that are made available to members of the community.
Stewart has a bachelor's in Social Work from the College of Saint Rose and is currently working toward her master's in Education, at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
