JENSEN BEACH, Fla. -- Briana Clary went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI on Saturday to help the Berkshire Force 14-and-under team to a 12-2 win over Longwood at the Babe Ruth World Series.
Mary Lee was 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs at the plate and pitched four innings, allowing just one earned run, as Berkshire ended the game in the bottom of the fifth via the mercy rule.
Tess Lyon went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Addyson Lyon pitched one inning of hitless relief.
Berkshire finished pool play with a 3-0 record, outscoring its opponents by a margin of 23-6.
16-and-under World Series
JENSEN BEACH, Fla. -- Toni Satrape and Hayley Tobin each went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs Saturday to help the Berkshire Force 16-and-under team to a 17-2 win over Charlestown at the Babe Ruth World Series.
Tobin and Satrape each stole three bases, and the Force made the most of 10 hits and six Charlestown errors.
Giuliana Pierce and Ahsley Keegan split time in the circle, striking out eight and allowing one earned run between them.
Berkshire finished pool play with a record of 1-2 at the tournament, which continues on Sunday.
