PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Berkshire County Arc announces the promotion of Maryann T. Hyatt to chief operating officer.
In this new role, Hyatt has overall strategic and operational responsibility for agency programs where individuals live, work and attend day habilitation programs. She also has overall management of the agency’s two pooled trusts and will provide leadership to the strategic planning process and implement new programmatic strategic initiatives. In addition, Hyatt is responsible for developing and managing annual budgets, evaluating services and reviewing programs for quality assurance.
Hyatt, who has held a variety of roles with the agency over the past 30 years, most recently served as the vice president of community, day and clinical services, where she oversaw Berkshire County Arc’s Adult Family Care Program, three day programs, the clinical services department that provides support to the individuals served by the agency and respite services. She holds a master’s of education degree and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration.
