CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
September 22 - 26, 2014
Construction update September 22 - 26, 2014 in downtown Pittsfield on North Street between Madison and Tyler Streets; and on the pedestrian plazas at the corners of Columbus and Eagle Streets at North Street.
PLEASE NOTE: All businesses will be open and accessible.
STREETSCAPE PHASE 3
North Street – between Madison Avenue and Tyler Street

The contractor will continue work in front of Berkshire Medical Center and the island in the roadway between Burbank and Tyler Street.

Sidewalk work will continue on the west side.
-
Gateway base excavation and installation just past Wahconah Street intersection will begin midweek.

Vehicular traffic will be one lane in each direction.
-
Please be mindful of construction warnings, signage and barriers.

PERSIP AND SOTTILE - PEDESTRIAN PLAZA AREAS
Parks at the corner of Columbus Avenue and North Street and Eagle Street and North Street

Work will continue inside the fenced area at Persip Park.
-
The contractor will be installing pavers and concrete sidewalks.
-
There should be no disruptions to pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
-
Pedestrians should remain out of the fenced construction area.
