PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Berkshire Veterans’ Coalition will be properly disposing of unserviceable flags.
People and businesses in possession of unserviceable flags can drop them off at the American Legion located at 41 Wendell Ave., Pittsfield. Unserviceable flags can be deposited at the back of the Legion, in a refurbished mailbox (parking lot side).
All unserviceable flags must be dropped off by Oct. 15. It is important to maintain and properly care for all American flags.
