| Bill Schmick | PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Bill Schmick, financial columnist and portfolio manager at Berkshire Money Management, the Pittsfield-based registered investment adviser, will be teaching a course this fall at Berkshire Community College.
The course, "AMERICA’S FUTURE: Buy, Sell or Hold?" will be offered as part of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute's Adult Learning Program.
Schmick, who writes several weekly investment columns for iBerkshires and a number of regional publications in several states, will show students how to look at today's issues through the lens of critical thinking. Course subjects will include how to separate fact from fiction in the November elections, the cost of college and other educational issues, "Wealth and Women — Is there a contradiction?" and other topics based on his columns.
Classes will be held on Mondays from 2:45 until 4:15 p.m., Sept. 10 through Oct. 29.
