It was such a wonderful experience for me and my Aunt to meet such a loving and respectful bunch of kids. Aunt Bennie said that she never pictured herself in front of a classroom full of children. So this was a first for her!!! The parents of these young children should be very proud of them. These kids made a 109 year old very happy and made her day!!
Thanks, Tammy for a wonderful story. You did a fantastic job.
Tammy, thank you sooo much for coming to LMHS and writing this article for everyone. I have shared it with the entire 8th grage and the rest of the building. It was wonderful to have you as part of the experience!
How lucky our students were to have met such a wonderful historian! I think she taught our students a great deal about life events, and the students were so amazed by her knowledge. Thanks so much for this wonderful opportunity.
What a wonderful and refreshing article about "Aunt Bennie". Both of my children not only enjoyed her company (and fudge), but they appreciated the message of the importance of history in their lives. Thank you Josh Hall and LMHS for allowing this to happen!
