10x10 On North, the Berkshires’ first-ever winter contemporary arts festival, was spearheaded by Barrington Stage in partnership with the City of Pittsfield. The festival will enliven downtown Pittsfield with a dynamic mix of new art, dance, music, theatre, and more, including BSC’s New Play Festival.

“We found ten exciting playwrights and six versatile actors who will create a diverse and lively world of stories in all genres, spinning off the theme of ‘Entrances & Exits’," said Julianne Boyd from her office. “The plays we’re presenting are about people connecting with each other in various ways - funny, sad, cautious, competitive, half-hearted, romantic, and even hostile.”
