WorkshopLive at 877 South Street, Pittsfield, proudly presents the “Rock Star Poster Series” by Michael Rousseau.  The 10 images, from Series I, will be on display from March 2 through March 31. An artist reception will be held on Friday, March 9^th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.   The viewing hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday.

Michael Rousseau is a double graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree. Michael is an artist/educator working in both traditional and digital media. Michael is a native of the Berkshires and has recently moved back to the area to pursue his artistic goals. The “Rock Star” series was developed by the artist to pay homage to his interest in Rock n’ Roll. Prints of the work will be available for purchase. 

WorkshopLive, an online music instruction company, features a different local artist each month in its gallery space at their corporate headquarters. It is part of an effort throughout Pittsfield to raise awareness of the rich cultural history and lively artistic community that is thriving in Pittsfield.
