Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Monday, July 2.
 
William Kearin Jr., 33, of Lee pleaded guilty to single counts of distribution of heroin and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
 
He was ordered to serve two years at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the heroin charge. He was given one concurrent year on the conspiracy charge.
 
The charges stem from the sale of heroin in Pittsfield on August 17, 2017.
 
Vincent Thaxter, 40, of Hartford,  Conn. pleaded guilty to a single count of larceny from a person.
 
He was ordered to serve 18 months at the Berkshire County House of Correction. Thaxter stole money from a clerk at Lipton Mart on South Street in Pittsfield on February 23, 2016.
 
A single count of armed robbery was dismissed by the state.
 
Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Tuesday, July 3.
 
Josiaiah Bynum, 20, of Pittsfield entered a not guilty plea on a single count of first-degree murder. 
 
He was ordered to be held at the Franklin County House of Correction without bail. The charge stems from the death of 22-year-old Asiyanna Jones, in Pittsfield, on October 2, 2017.
 
Carey Pilot, 45, of Pittsfield entered a not guilty plea on a single count of first-degree murder.
 
She was ordered to be held at the Hampden County House of Correction Chicopee Woman's Facility without bail. The charge stems from the death of 22-year-old Asiyanna Jones, in Pittsfield, on October 2, 2017.
 
Sirfrancis Carthon, 36, of Springfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of possession of heroin with intent  to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, illegal possession of a large capacity weapon, possession of a large capacity firearm during the commission of a felony, improper storage of a large capacity firearm, illegal ownership of a firearm, and possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card.
 
He was released on $1,000 bail. The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant in North Adams on May 1, 2018.
 
Carlton Moore III, 48, of Pittsfield was found guilty by a jury on a single count of operating with a suspended license for an operation under the influence of alcohol offense.
 
He was released on $3,00 bail pending sentencing. On Thursday, Moore was sentenced to two years at the Berkshire County House of Correction.
 
The charge stems from a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on October 21, 2017.
 
Moore was found not guilty on a single count of operating under the influence of alcohol - what would have been his fifth offense. A charge of possession of a Class E substance was dismissed by the state.
 
Kari Marie Warner, 30, of Springfield had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on single counts of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, illegal possession of a large capacity weapon, possession of a large capacity firearm during the commission of a felony, improper storage of a large capacity firearm, illegal ownership of a firearm, and  possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card.
 
She was released on personal recognizance.
 
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant in North Adams on May 1, 2018.
 
Cases heard before Judge Paul Smythe on Thursday, July 5.
 
Andrew Gombar, 34, of Chatham, N.Y. had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of kidnapping and assault and battery.
 
He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. The charges stem from an incident in Stockbridge involving a 31-year-old woman on July 2, 2018.

Shane Boudreau, 28, of Hinsdale had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of enticing a child under the age of 16 and attempt to commit a crime, to wit: rape and abuse of a child.
 
He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $20,000 bail. The incident is alleged to have occurred in Hinsdale on May 11, 2018.
 
Wes Ouimet, 26, of Adams had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
 
He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $10,000 bail. The charges stem from his arrest in North Adams on April 26, 2018.
 
Michael Rose, 38, of Pittsfield had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on a single count of mayhem.
 
He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without bail. The charge stems from an assault in Pittsfield involving a 50-year-old man on November 29, 2017.
 
Gary Linen, 38, of Pittsfield had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on a single count of first-degree murder in connection with the death of 22-year-old Asiyanna Jones, in Pittsfield, on October 2, 2017.
 
He also had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two counts of armed assault with intent to murder, and single counts of illegal possession of a firearm, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.
 
The charges stem from the same incident in which Linen is accused of attempting to harm a 38-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman.
 
He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without bail.
 
Travis Perras, 22, of North Adams pleaded guilty to single counts of armed assault with intent to rob and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. 
 
He was ordered to serve four to six years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction. 
 
Perras stabbed and attempted to rob a 51-year-old pizza delivery driver in North Adams on July 14, 2017.
 
A single count of armed assault with intent to murder was dismissed by the state.
