Cases heard before Judge Daniel Ford on Monday, January 27.

Deon Allen, 22, of Waterbury, Conn. was sentenced to five seven years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on single counts of armed robbery and assault and batter with a dangerous weapon. He was give a concurrent two to three year sentence on a single count of intimidation of a witness.

Allen was found guilty on the three charges by a jury on Jan. 16. The charges stemmed from an incident in Great Barrington involving a 26-year-old man on September 15, 2012.

Cases heard before Judge Daniel Ford on Tuesday, January 28.

David Biros, 47, of Adams had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and common receiver of stolen goods.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail. Biros was allegedly in possession of stolen property which he then sold on e-Bay between October 21 and November 13, 2013.

Terry Martizna Jr., 23, of Lanesborough had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two counts of armed assault with intent to murder, two counts of possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card and single counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, illegal possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and possession of oxycodone.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $100,000 bail. The charges stem from an incident in Pittsfield on December 5, 2013 when Martizna allegedly fire several shots at two men on Madison Avenue.

Matthew Calautti, 28, of Windsor had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of armed assault with intent to rob and assault by means of a dangerous weapon.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety bail. The charges stem from an attempt to take money from an employees at Subway on Tyler Street in Pittsfield on January 3, 2014.

Greg Meddaugh, 49, of Pittsfield had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on a single count of assault with intent to commit rape. He also had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on a single count of assault and battery on a disabled person.

The first charge allegedly occurred in Pittsfield on November 27, 2013 and involved a 28-year-old woman. The other allegedly occurred in Pittsfield on September 18, 2013 and involved a 52-year-old woman.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $10,000 bail.

Cases heard before Judge Daniel Ford on Wednesday, January 29.

Catherine Brackett, 22, of NOrth Adams had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on two counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws and single counts of distribution of cocaine and assault and battery on a public employee.

She was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $1,000 cash or $10,000 surety bail. The incidents allegedly occurred in North Adams between January 1, 2013 and November 26, 2013.

Deborah Johnson, 47, of Housatonic pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of cocaine.

She was placed on two years probabtion. Johnson sold cocaine in Pittsfield on September 8, 2007 and September 10, 2007.

Johnte Smith, 25, of Bronx, N.Y. had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on three counts of distribution of cocaine, two counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws and single counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine wit intent to distribute.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $50,000 cash or $500,000 surety bail. The incidents allegedly occurred in North Adams between January 1, 2013 and November 26, 2013.
 
Derrick Witter, 31, of Bronx, N.Y. had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws and single counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $70,000 cash or $700,000 surety bail. The incidents allegedly occurred in North Adams between January 1, 2013 and November 26, 2013.
